Acceptance of terms

By using Resume Optimizer, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Acceptable use

You may only upload files you have the legal right to process. You agree not to use Resume Optimizer to process content that is illegal, infringing, or that you do not have permission to handle, and not to attempt to abuse, overload, or circumvent rate limits or security controls.

Service availability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and may modify or discontinue features at any time.

Resume Optimizer and AI-generated content

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of everything on your resume, including any text generated or suggested by our AI-assisted features. AI suggestions are drafts intended to help you phrase your own real experience more clearly -- you must review, edit, and confirm that every statement on your resume is true before using or sharing it. We do not verify the factual accuracy of resume content you enter or generate, and we are not responsible for the consequences of submitting inaccurate information to an employer.

ATS compatibility scores, job-match scores, and similar figures are estimates produced by our own heuristics and, where configured, a third-party AI model. They are provided to help you improve your resume and do not guarantee that any particular applicant tracking system will score your resume the same way, or that you will be shortlisted, interviewed, or hired.

If you publish a resume to a public link, you are responsible for the content of that page and for unpublishing it if you no longer want it accessible.

Plans and billing

Premium access is a one-time, non-recurring purchase valid for a fixed number of days from purchase (or from your current Premium expiry, if you purchase again before it lapses). It does not auto-renew and you will not be charged again unless you make another purchase yourself. When Premium access ends, your account reverts to the Free plan and its limits automatically -- your existing resumes and data are not deleted.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Resume Optimizer and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including data loss. Always keep your own backup of important files before processing them.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
